It is handmade from high-performance Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) with 2 coats of clear sealer applied. GFRC is lighter compared to materials, such as marble and stone, but provides the same level of durability while giving a natural handcrafted look. Without paint in the GFRC, it is more colorfast and able to withstand the outdoor elements. The fire pit table is equipped with a CSA certified, thermo-couple-controlled 50,000 BTU stainless steel burner and convenient electronic push button ignition (1.5v battery powered). It additionally incorporates a flame-out automatic shut-off mechanism to guarantee safe usage.
